The USB-C adapter Aukey 8-in-1 hub is down to $29.06 in Amazon. Usually, the adapter sells for $38 or more. The $29 drop is a new low for this adapter that hasn’t fallen by less than $30. Not directly, at least. This is the black version of the hub. There’s a gray one, but the only reason to pay the extra money is for the color, it goes down to $33.99.
You have a cool laptop, but all that you have is a USB-C port you plug stuff into. Such stinks, right? With that, you can’t do much. The same applies to some tablets or smartphones that have only a USB-C hub to power up and load new equipment. This is where the hub of Aukey comes into play. Connect it to the USB-C port and suddenly you have eight rather than one function.
The hub contains a USB-C port with 100W Power Delivery. Even if you only use the port of your computer, you do not have to give up charging to read a flash drive or anything. Charge this additional USB C port and keep your device completely powered.
Two USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one USB-2.0 port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one HDMI port and one SD and micro-SD card reader are other tools on this hub. For anything that does not require fast transmission speeds, use the USB 2.0 port. USB 3.0 and 5 Gbps transfer speeds are supported by USB-A ports. For more storage for your device, you can use either an SD or microSD card. The HDMI port supports 4K resolutions so that you can output to a bigger monitor that is great when handling the small screen of a laptop.
