I feel that when I travel anywhere these days I just need a separate bag for all the adapters and cables I have to charge all my equipment. I’ve got a giant brick with a different cable coming from each end for my MacBook and I have a USB-C adapter and a USB-C for my iPhone’s Lightning cable. Obviously, my Apple watch has to have Apple’s own wireless charging disc and cable, and my Kindle eBook reader needs a micro-USB cable and another wall adaptor. Oh, I also need a USB-C charger and an accommodating adapter for my mobile power bank. Short, long story, it’s a lot of pain in the butt.
You can see all that because Aukey has sent me the new AUKEY Omnia Dual-Port 65W Fast Charger before launch. That’s terrific! It is 50% smaller and 50% lighter than the Wall Adapter of the MacBook and has a total output of 65W. You can, therefore, connect it to only your laptop and charge it for a full 65W or you can connect a second cable and quickly load your iPhone or iPad at full speed while you charge your laptop at a 45W.
AUKEY Omnia Dual-Port 65W Fast Charger is available in two different versions. They are both currently on sale at Amazon. The USB-C PD and USB-A Dual Port models for $50 can only be bought for $37.59 now if you are an Amazon Prime Member, and the two USB-C PD ports version is down to $43.99 for prime members instead of $60. Now I’m carrying the latter with me to charge my iPhone 11 Pro fast while I load my MacBook, and it’s like a dream come true.
