Read iPhone 12 Major Warning As Issued By Apple!

iPhone 12

Consumers with pacemakers or defibrillators will appreciate the new warning in the latest iPhone. The iPhone 12 has a magnetic ring that allows it to connect to a charging base, despite the fact that you can’t see it. The magnetic field produced by that ring is so strong that people who have a pacemaker or defibrillator should be cautious.

Apple has since issued a cautionary statement. In the vast majority of cases, it causes the pacemaker to cease sensing the heart. Dr. Eric Van De Graaff, a cardiologist at Bergan Mercy, said Monday that a defibrillator will trigger it to turn off the shock therapy, ensuring that the heart is not shocked if necessary.

A pacemaker is usually implanted just below the collarbone, according to Dr. Van De Graaff. He advises people who have both the medical device and the iPhone 12 to be aware of their surroundings.

He motioned to his shirt pocket and said, “People have a pocket right there like I have. And if they keep their phone in their pocket, that puts it in close enough proximity to cause problems”. Apple recommends keeping a six-inch distance between the two devices, but Van De Graaff suggests keeping it even further if the device is charging.

“It actually produces more of a field if it’s connected to the charger while it’s charging. As a result, you should keep it 12 inches away from you,” he advised. If pacemakers or defibrillators make contact with the iPhone 12, the patient will be fine as long as the distance between them is restored, according to the doctor.

“Everything has returned to normal. As a result, you don’t reset things by accident. So, if you just follow common sense, you’ll be fine. Dr. Van De Graaff advised, keep it away, there’s nothing to worry about.”

Patients who have a pacemaker or defibrillator and own the latest iPhone should consult their cardiologist.
